This art resource introduces students to the art element of Line and how it can look different based on cultural references. It has links to water, the ocean and its creatures. The samples in this resource are from students aged between 7 and 9. The focus skills are fine-motor and we explored painting smoothly, liquid colours blending, imagination and observational drawing.
Your students can produce individual works as well as group items from this unit. Also included are pages for student art journals, teacher assessment rubric, student self assessment reflection sheets and links to resources that support this unit.
