The Focus: This teacher guided lesson helps students to learn about figurine sculpture through the medium of kiln-fired clay. They learn to make and compose from slabs, spheres and coils, judge size and thickness and mould features.
Forming strong attachments when adding details to clay is also practised, as are ways of adding texture with tools.
