This art resource introduces students to the art element of Line (pattern) and Colour (primary, warm, cool). It can links to science units about water, the ocean and its creatures. The samples in this resource are from students aged 7 - 9. The focus skills are fine-motor and we explored painting smoothly, liquid colours blending, imagination and observational drawing. Your students can produce individual works by acting on the choice options built into the lesson. Also included are links to books that support this unit.
Examples in this unit were made by Y3 students.
